We thought it would be fun to review some of the casual games we currently have available in our JA Casual Game Center. Needless to say, these games are very addictive and while our enthusiastic reviews are, for the most part short, the time spent playing these games is not. Once you have read the review, drop by the JA Casual Game Center and download a free trial version of the game for yourself, but remember - you have been warned!

Diner Dash: Flo on the Go screenshot - click to enlargeIn this latest installment of Diner Dash, you go on vacation with Flo and her restauranteur pal Darla, only to see Flo repeatedly lose her luggage. The pair must then work in restaurants along the way in order to earn Flo a new wardrobe. Some vacation, eh?

Players get to dress Flo in a variety of outfits throughout the game. I had fun with this because my Flo is color-blind and has no fashion sense. As a trade-off, restaurants aren't as customizable as they were in Diner Dash 2.

Series veterans will see both new and familiar elements here. Among the new: levels played in relative darkness, and others that feature screen-jarring (representing turbulence, etc.) which causes drinks to spill. There are also some new customer types.

However, the game boasts five "secret" levels that may only be unlocked by scoring Expert across-the-board at each location. Achieving such scores can be daunting, and gaining an Expert score on the very last level is seriously difficult -- it took me three days.

All-in-all, the series remains deliciously addictive, and fans would do well to give Flo-on-the-Go a try. Advancing through the game is great fun, players who savor more demanding gameplay will find it in the Expert arena, and the "secret" levels are really quite amusing!
