We thought it would be fun to review some of the casual games we currently have available in our JA Casual Game Center. Needless to say, these games are very addictive and while our enthusiastic reviews are, for the most part short, the time spent playing these games is not. Once you have read the review, drop by the JA Casual Game Center and download a free trial version of the game for yourself, but remember - you have been warned!

Atlantis Quest screenshot - click to enlargeThe timeless story of Atlantis plays a central role in this addictive casual game. You play an archaeologist traveling ancient Mediterranean lands such as Greece, Babylon and Egypt. You must shift and match up 3 or more matching artifacts vertically or horizontally. But hidden among the artifacts are glowing pieces of a much bigger and more significant artifact - Nebuchadnezzar's shield, for example. When the pieces are magically reassembled, you'll see that the artifact has a hidden map that reveals your next location, and thus the next step to finding the mystical city of Atlantis!

Atlantis Quest screenshot - click to enlargeTo free the artifact fragments you must bring them down to the bottom of the grid. There are also several bonus artifacts you can retrieve to increase the time limit, smash artifacts, etc. The grids get harder as you your quest continues across more ancient cities. Nice background music accompanies each new setting, as well. This game is as addictive as it is pleasantly frustrating, and it is easy to spend several hours mixing and matching artifacts in search of the lost city of Atlantis.
