EVE Online selected for Museum of Modern Art's permanent collection

Among the 14 video games selected for outstanding interactive design and other artistic criteria

December 3, 2012 - EVE Online, the Sci-Fi massively multiplayer online (MMO) game developed by CCP Games (www.ccpgames.com) and launched in 2003 is amongst a select 14 video games to be accepted into the permanent collection of The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).

The games, chosen from the vast history of the industry, were chosen based on their outstanding examples of interactive design as well as other artistic criteria.  There will be an installation at the Museum to showcase the chosen games beginning in March 2013
