Game Music Initiative launches OneBigAlbum November 26th

November 22, 2012 – the Game Music Initiative and OneBigGame (http://www.onebiggame.com), the non-profit publisher of videogames, today announces the launch date of the Game Music Initiative’s OneBigAlbum, a unique music collection album with never before released tracks from 17 different famous composers making the OneBigAlbum project one of the biggest game musician collaborations in videogames history.

“OneBigAlbum was such a great project to be involved in and I am truly thrilled we are now releasing the album. The Game Music Initiative acts as the overseeing and coordinating body for the project, with OneBigGame, Inc. acting as the publisher. Awal will distribute the album to all major digital platforms including iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Spotify, Zune and eMusic. As with all its game projects, OneBigGame, Inc. will donate a minimum of 80% of all net proceeds made from sales of this unique fan-service album to its two charity foundations: The Starlight Children's Foundation and Save the Children.
OneBigGame aims to raise funds to help solve problems afflicting children around the world. The nature of these problems can be di-verse, but the kind of projects OneBigGame supports will always revolve around a structural improvement in children’s lives, expanding their opportunities in life. OneBigGame raises funds by publishing games kindly donated pro bono by established names in game devel-opment, in conjunction with support from the development community as a whole. OneBigGame always aims to donate a minimum of 80 percent of all donations to its charity partners Save the Children and Starlight Children’s foundation.
