Continues international growth strategy

Montreuil (France), 23 November 2012, French publisher Anuman Interactive continues its international growth strategy as it opens an office in Shanghai (China) to coordinate business in Asia.

Since it was founded in 2000, Anuman Interactive has published over 1,500 titles for iOS, Android, PC, and Mac and has a presence in retail and digital stores in over 150 countries. The company is now stepping up the diversification of its catalogue which, as well as games, proposes educational and DIY applications. And while it widens its product range, it has also been expanding geographically for the past two years. The office opening in Asia is a bold statement of that expansion strategy.

Loïc Tanguy and Christian Devillers head up the office which is located in Shanghai and focuses chiefly on China, Korea, and Japan. Tanguy was formerly Nexway’s Asia head and Vice President of Publishing and Marketing with Vivendi Universal, while Devillers boasts over ten years experience in Asia as CEO of Lafarge-owned companies in China and Indonesia.

For the First time, in the first half of December 2012, Anuman is launching the first Chinese release of Home Design 3D for iOS. It has customized this interior design application – one of its lightship products with over 5 million users to date – to meet the expectations of Chinese users as closely as possible.

Anuman Interactive’s Deputy General Manager and Asian Market Coordinator, Sandra Ragobert, explains: “We see the Asian market as a growth pole on which we have decided to capitalize by bringing in people with in-depth knowledge of all that’s specific to business in this part of the world. The experience of one of our key people, Loïc Tanguy, in software, video games, and download platforms will help smooth relations with our partners, publishers, distributors, and communication outlets. It will provide us with valuable support in launching numerous products reworked and adapted for this market.”
