Hogworld: Gnart's Adventure Now Available for iOS, Mac and Kindle Fire
Children's adventure game app becomes top-grossing app in Norway.
SnowCastle Interactive announced today the world-wide release of Hogworld: Gnart's Adventure for iOS, Mac, and Kindle Fire. The children's adventure has reached the top-grossing app in Norway.
Hogworld: Gnart's Adventure is part adventure, part storybook, known as "interactive stories" by SnowCastle. The overall narative is linear and chronological, but allows the player to interact with the story in subtle ways.
“We believe it is possible to combine the linearity of great storytelling with the interactivity of gaming, and the reception of Hogworld shows we are right,” says producer Bendik Stang.
Hogworld: Gnart's Adventure has a narration option that can be enabled or disabled. Despite the game being aimed toward children between the ages of 3 to 6, some adults may enjoy the storybook gameplay.
