September 26, 2012 - A few months after closing out their successful Kickstarter campaign, the first studio release from Jane Jensen's Pinkerton Road -- Lola and Lucy's Big Adventure -- is almost here! This charming interactive storybook is planned to debut on iPad in North America in mid-October. PC, Mac, and Android versions will follow in the next several months.

(Quick disclaimer: this is not the project that Pinkerton Road crowd-funded, and it's pretty different than the other games they're working on. Even so, we hope this adorable ebook will catch your eye!)

What is a dog's job? Lola and Lucy, a plucky pair of bulldogs who live with the Baxter family in Vermont, are determined to find out. Join them on a cross-country trek as they seek out their true purpose in life -- only to realize, miles away from their loving family, that they knew what it was all along.

Lola and Lucy's Big Adventure is a robust ebook for kids of all ages and reading levels, created by veteran game designer Jane Jensen and composer Robert Holmes. Although its tone and format are completely different from Jane's previous work, her influence is abundant in both the storytelling and the interactive elements. This vibrant storybook is cram-packed with interactive treats to keep kids engrossed and entertained: 29 colorful scenes to explore, dozens of hidden animations and sounds to discover, and 14 mini-games to play! While it's not an adventure game per se, Lola and Lucy is a great entry point for fans of Jane's games to share with the kids in their lives.
