Big news from Brawsome and Andrew Goulding

A "high profile" Kickstarter campaign is launching later this year

The biggest Brawsome news at the moment is unfortunately something I can't talk about! I've only been given the okay to mention that I'm currently working with some long term idols of mine on what should be a "high profile" kickstarter launching later in the year, being developed in the MacGuffin's Curse engine. I understand the need to keep it under wraps though, because any kickstarter needs to have good momentum, so talking about it prematurely is not a good idea.

I started talking to them about working together on a game way back in 2010, just after I released Jolly Rover, and also sent them a copy of MacGuffin's Curse earlier in the year. Whenever I release a game I always send keys out to everyone I respect and admire, and sometimes they even email me back! (never Ron Gilbert though! Why Ron? WHY?)

Anyway, if you'd like to come by Brawsome micro-booth 158B at PAX to try and beat it out of me, I'll give you a fighting chance. I'll be giving away unique Jolly Rover and MacGuffin's Curse V.I.P. cards with Humble Store codes on the back, as well as some cool post cards. Post cards!? Cool? Yeah, well, I've popped up a blog post about all that here: http://www.brawsome.com.au/blog/index.php/2012/08/25/be-a-brawsome-v-i-p-at-pax/. It contains all the info, from giving away copies of Jolly Rover and MacGuffin's Curse, to our port-a-loo of a booth location, to the various sales that will be running during the conference.

Hope to see you there!
