Volchaos Now Available on Xbox Live Indie Games
Retro-style game puts platforming fun inside dangerous volcanoes.
Fun Infused Games announced today the release of Volchaos on Xbox Live Indie Games for 80 Microsoft Points (roughly one dollar), a platformer that isn't afraid to thrust the player into a volcano for personal gain, or to pay off debts.
"This is a game of love, greed, exploration, friendship, and brutal fiery deaths" said lead developer Kris Steele. "It is a very accurate depiction of what it would be like to be in a volcano seeking treasures and stupidly taunting death. Someone would have to be really dumb to do this for real."
In Volchaos, players must guide their explorer in a challenging old-school platformer through dangerous volcanoes. In these volcanoes, players must collect precious gems, which are used to pay off bad debts, alimony and of course, your mortgage. However, it isn't just fun and games of collecting gems and paying bookies, as there will be an assortment of baddies that will be sure to complicate your adventure. Oh, and don't forget that the lava is constantly rising, so either get busy getting rich or get busy dying!
