The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition Launches World-wide
Newest update brings more quests, improvements, and more over original game.
CD Projekt RED (www.cdprojekt.com) announced today that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition is now available worldwide for the Xbox 360 and PC. The latest update brings more than four hours of quests, new cutscenes and cinematics, and more than 100 improvements over the original game.
In celebration of the release, GOG.com (www.gog.com), the digital game distributor, in cooperation with CD Projekt RED, is offering a free backup copy ot every The Witcher 2 owner out there. The backup allows players to access their game anywhere in the world, at any time. The backup copy is also the only DRM-free version of the game, which can be nabbed here: LINK
Along with the announcement, The Witcher Enhanced Edition and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings are both on sale at GOG.com. The original The Witcher is on sale for $4.99 until April 23, 2012, with the latest release going for $42.49 until May 7, 2012. Both copies are DRM-free and are bundled with goodies such as a digital comic book, special wallpapers, HQ Artbook, exclusive game guide and more.
