The First Men in the Moon Now Available as an Online Game
H.G. Wells' classic makes its way to a new medium.
EnterTheStory.com launched today The First Men in the Moon as an online game, based off of the workings of H.G. Wells. EnterTheStory.com launches daily online adventures based on classic novels for free, with no Flash or download required. To keep things fresh and inviting, a new story is added every week, with a new chapter released every day for the next twenty years, plus user-generated content.
Other such titles that have been released in the past include Journey to the Center of the Earth, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and now The First Men in the Moon. Romeo and Juliet is the next planned release on the site. The game is considered an online gamebook, in the style of "Choose Your Own Adventure", which is familiar to majority of readers as they types of books that give the readers options in certain situations, which may lead to good or bad endings.
