New Screenshots Released for Game of Thrones RPG

Six new screenshots for upcoming role-playing game.

Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide Studio released today a small set of screenshots for their upcoming RPG Game of Thrones, which is based on the critically-acclaimed series of novels A Song of Ice and Fire by R.R. Martin. Already adapted into a HBO series, the A Song of Ice and Fir will make its way in game form to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. A release is aimed for early 2012.

In Game of Thrones, players will be able to delve into the world written by George R.R. Martin in a role-playing adventure with more than 30 hours of gameplay. Players take control of Mors, the sworn brother of the Night's Watch, and Alester, a Red Priest in serach of redemption who has returned to Westeros after a long exile. The two find themselves dragged into a quest just after the Hand of King Robert Baratheon has passed away, leading them through familiar settings in Westeros, such as the Wall and the famous King's Landing.

Players will have choose the class of their characters to match their fighting style, utilizing a good balance of strength and weakness to prepare themselves for large epic battles. Not only will they have to level up their skills, but keep a sharp wit and tongue, as political skills are just as important.
