Albino Lullaby: Episode 1 Review - November 2, 2015

Original Launch Trailer

If you're not feeling disturbed enough these days, here's your chance to go 'round the bend as Ape Law brings Episode 1 of Albino Lullaby for PC/Windows to the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Remember: you've been warned.

The Kickstarter-funded game is a surreal, psychological nightmare set in a dark and macabre Victorian town that clings to the precipices of underground cliffs. It features player-driven pacing with no cutscenes, a mechanical mansion that deconstructs around you, an intricate backstory conveyed through the game space and hidden spaces haunted by "The Grandchildren."

Justin Pappas, Creative Director of  Albino Lullaby and Ape Law Founder: From the moment Albino Lullaby played so well on the DK1, we knew we had to move forward with VR in mind at every turn. We wanted to create a fantastic world for an ordinary person to explore as themselves in the role of the main character, and VR delivers that experience in a way never before so fully realized.

Episode 1 was originally released on Steam September 15, 2015. If you already own this episode, you will receive a key for the Oculus store. The episode will launch on the HTC Vive April 5th.

Albino Lullaby Episode 2 is targeted for release on January 17, 2017. A launch date for Episode 3 is TBD.
