Emily Wants to Play Has Been Released
Emily Wants to Play Has Been Released
And developer Shawn Hitchcock wants to scare the crap out of you

It's a stormy night. All you're trying to do is deliver a pizza to Emily and hopefully collect a decent tip. You discover that Emily's house is overgrown and boarded up, but the lights are on and the front door is open.

Forging ahead, you step inside. Big mistake. The door closes behind you, and you become trapped in Emily's house.

As you roam around, Emily and her dolls will be roaming around as well. They just want to play, but you do your best to avoid them as they're not very nice. The kinds of games they have in mind are anything but fun.

In reaction to this game's scary events, YouTubers have reportedly broken headphones, microphones and keyboards (among other things).

Emily Wants to Play has no blood or gore. Instead, it will do a dance on your nerves as you travel through the creepy story (and house). You'll never know what to expect, and deadly mistakes are possible. The game also has some jump-scares.

Do you think you can survive the night? Let the games begin...

Emily Wants to Play, from indie developer Shawn Hitchcock/SKH, is available on Steam for PC/Windows and Mac at a 10% discount ($4.49) until January 4, 2016.
