Harold Halibut Isn't a Fish, But He Does Live Underwater
From Slow Bros. comes a modern adventure with a strong focus on storytelling and exploration

A vast multi-generational space ship is launched with the goal of continuing life on another planet. Poor planning and internal bickering result in the ship crashing into a planet made completely of water.

You are Harold Halibut, born long after the crash. You live aboard the submerged ship in a utopian society gone awry. You work as a janitor and lab assistant.

Life has been pretty boring so far. But something is coming. Something in the water.

Developer Slow Bros. is creating Harold Halibut using only crafting materials such as wood, clay and metal. Everything in the game is being built using classic sculpting, set-building and clay and puppet fabrication techniques. This gives the game a distinctive look.

Ole Tillmann, Art Director, Writer, Illustrator: There’s something about working with your hands that just can’t be replicated by using a computer. We wanted the feeling of traditional stop-motion films and still benefit from the possibilities of the digital world.

Harold Halibut will be released on Windows, PS4 and Xbox One. The game is to launch sometime in 2019.
