A Near Dawn is an interesting mix of psychological devastation, amusing highs, humor, gut-wrenching drama and mature themes. Developer Far-off Daydream Games describes it as "one part darkness and two parts humor." The game has been inspired by the likes of Broken Sword, Blackwell, and Ace Attorney series, as well as darker titles such as Steins;Gate and Twin Peaks.

A Near Dawn centers around Sam Nichols, a Seattle attorney who finds himself entangled in a nasty case involving a brutal multinational corporation. To make matters worse, Sam is plagued by psychological disturbances. A malevolent presence exists within Sam's mind, just waiting to burst through to the surface.

You'll be making dynamic decisions that can change the course of the narrative and lead to different endings. There will also be puzzles to solve.

A Kickstarter campaign has been launched that will run until November 23rd. Links to a playable demo for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android, consisting of The Prologue to A Near Dawn, are reflected on the Kickstarter page. It's 20-30 minutes in length.

If you like what you see, please consider backing the game. Far-off Daydream Games will love you for it. Smile
