The overall storyline of The Last Door centers around Jeremy Devitt, who received a letter from an old friend. He heads to his friend's manor to discover that the place is deserted. After seeking clues to find out about his friend's disappearance, he heads to the boarding school they attended together, which is now a hospital for the terminally ill. Things aren't what they seem, and Devitt's adventure continues on in Old Nichols Slum.
