Daedalic Entertaiment has been named Best Studio at this year's German Developer Awards. Also recognized: the team behind Goodbye Deponia, winning Best Story, BestAdventure and Best Sound. The awards are selected by jury and representatives of the German videogame industry.
“To be honoured with these awards proves Daedalic Entertainment is heading into the right direction and we have established ourselves as an important player within the German games industry,” Carsten Fichtelmann, Daedalic Entertainment CEO commented, delighted with the studio’s accomplishment. “The award Best Studio reflects the company's whole portfolio and corresponding achievements have been recognised. This concludes a very successful year for us, with big releases under our belt including The Night of the Rabbit, Memoria and, of course, Goodbye Deponia.”
Daedalic Entertainment is the first studio to have been named Best Studio twice.
