August 21, 2013
It's been a long wait: Syberia 2 was released in 2002. A definite announcement regarding Kate Walker's return in Syberia 3 was made in November 2013. Fans were overjoyed.
Kate's impending return has now become more of reality. The game design has been written and the story has been completed.
Microïds will reveal first drafts of the visual universe of Syberia 3 at Gamescom 2013.
Elliot Grassiano, V.P. at Microïds: “It is very satisfying to return to this universe that we love so much and especially to be able to share the progress of this major project with the players who have been supporting us and motivating us for over a decade.”
Syberia 1 and 2 were initially released on PC, and later on Playstation 2 and Xbox as well as Nintendo DS, iPhone and iPad.
Created and published by Microïds, the two games were critically and commercially acclaimed thanks to their charismatic main character, Kate Walker, and the unique vision of Benoit Sokal, their art director.
