Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna) - New Game Trailer - July 21, 2014
In this new video, Ron Brower, Sr., an Iñupiat Elder and Cultural Ambassador to the Never Alone project, describes the importance of making a videogame to pass traditional knowledge to the next generation.
Due for release this Fall for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, Never Alone is an atmospheric puzzle platformer by developer Upper One Games that combines traditional folklore, stories, settings, and characters handed down over many generations by Alaska Native people whose roots and heritage date back millennia.
The game will be the first title to be released as part of publisher E-Line Media’s World Games category — an exciting new genre of computer and video games that bring carefully selected traditional stories from indigenous cultures around the world to life in innovative and compelling ways for global audiences.
Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna) will be making an appearance at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, August 13-15, 2014.
