Clown’s Secret is an adventure game based on classic movies of the silent age, giving new, modern life to those movies' black-and-white scenes. It was inspired by 1947's Monsieur Verdoux, directed by and starring Charlie Chaplin.
The game uses point-and-click navigation and a black-and-white 2D visual style. The player will follow Hal and Halbert, two detectives who are investigating the disappearance of a high-class woman just after her marriage.
Clown's Secret had been influenced by such games as Monkey Island, Broken Sword, Machinarium and Broken Age.
The game is due to be released in Q4 2014 for Mac, PC, Linux, Android and iOS.
