It's been awhile since I've seen this thread, and I really can't think of anything new to start right now, so...what adventures are you playing?

As for me, I'm working on a Cliff Johnson classic, The Fool's Errand (excellent variety of puzzles, and proof you don't need 32 bit color or 3D graphics to make a superb game) and fiddling around with Discworld on the side. I want to start The 11th Hour, but what with the headaches I've had trying to get it to run, well, that's a topic for the Technical Help forum.  :-/

I just finished up with Syberia, which was great. Still haven't decide which one to start yet.....maybe DarkFall?
11th Hour is a 'great' game.....hope you can get it running. Wish I kept my copy of it. I'd like to play it again.  :'(

Can't stop playing Deus Ex? I totally understand that feeling. It is a great game, one of the best.

I picked up Blade Runner at our office game reserve so that should keep me busy for a while, now that I've solved the Aya Brea mystery

I forgot my sig.

Finished Runaway a week ago and just started playing Hollywood Monsters. I'll make some space for KQ2 - I want to see if I can beat Michal's record

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

I'm curently playing Post Mortem. After that (or it could even be at the same time
) I'm going to play Cameron files 2. I've already installed it and played it a bit but I promised myself that I would use my X-mas holidays to do this properly.

And since I'm not going back to work this year ....... (yes, in the Netherlands you can have that amount of days off left at the end of the year), Adventureland, here I come!

Hey Andromus!
I played Fool's Errand two months ago. It's a brilliant game with a unique concept. Not an adventure, but more a puzzle and brain game.

I'm replaying Discworld at the moment. I've forgotten almost all the puzzles and I once again realize that this is a hard game.

Just finished Mystery of the Druids. I have written a review for this game in the review forum.
I only picked that up because Runaway wasn't in the store yet.

That's the next one I'm going to play.

Deus Ex is a great game and Yes do understand the feeling to just keep going non-stop with it.

Am playing Silent Hill 2,  Shadow of Destiny and Largo Winch (which I would be done with except the hacking puzzles, though getting better at them) and, of course, my career game Morrowind.

Am looking forward (hopefully before Christmas) to Omega Stone and the Sherlock game arriving at my doorstep and also hopefully in January some games I have been waiting a long time for, will be released and not pushed back again.

I'm still waiting for a total conversion for Deus Ex. I almost expect that none will ever be released, but there's still hope.

Deleted UserIt seems like I have tried to win the dart game in Sherlock Holmes:  Case of the Rose Tattoo a million times - so I am taking a break.

I just installed the new Sherlock game.  The storyline is interesting but I have to tell you that the game moves along slowly.  My computer is up to date enough to handle it nicely but sometimes it takes forever between the click and the on screen action.

But I am a nut for Sherlock so I plan to continue.  I understand that the puzzles get harder as the game progresses.

Currently playing Post Mortem but getting more and more disappointed by the day (remind me to withdraw my vote for best adventure of the year). It's starting to look more and more like a Shyamalan movie: great potential/concept, bad execution.

Starting with Tony Tough tomorrow and inbetween playing Grand Theft Auto Vice City to relieve me of my frustrations.
Playing: World of Warcraft / Monkey Island SE&&Reading: Worldwar: Upsetting the Balance - Harry Turtledove&&Watching: Repo! The Genetic Opera

And unbreakable as well, and definitely looking forward to watching signs also. I think he is a GREAT director.

Into Gothic 2 demo now. The full game is out in Europe in German. Due out in the US in a month or two. Much improved landscape, plants & trees than Gothic 1. Has same good character conversations.

Hey, I liked Signs! I thought the part of the plot that dealt with the family and their relationships, their personal problems, and how those problems were resolved or reconciled was mostly well done.  I will admit it had a few plot holes...big enough to drive a Mack truck through.

Shyamalan is going to go down (or should) as the greatest non-director ever. He's the People Magazine version of a film director.  Zero story sense, steals every plot beat, no surprises though he supposed to be mister plot twist, has to buy every single emotion.

Please.

I figured out Sixth Sense about 45 secconds into the movie. That story has been done about 300 times. Unbreakable was little more than a bad 90 minute informmerical for fitness gyms. It's just a poorly informed viewing public that holds this guy up as anything but a hack. If you want to watch a REAL movie, go see the Ring, Japanese version, or the Princess and the Warrrior by Tom Twyker.

Sorry. Heh, :-/ :-X
No offense, but I work in the biz
did three weeks on the Ring, USA version a year ago  before the show moved to Seattle) and I just....oh well...never mind, kinda a pet peeve of mine, this guy.

Anyway, I'm playing Touche', The Adventures of the Fifth Muskateer, thanks to Mooseferatu's tip on making an English versions from a foreign language (Spanish) verson.  So far it's sweet and cozy, sort of like eating mashed potatoes with your favorite great aunt. But in a good way.

Ouch. If I hate something, it's predictable movies. And an appalling percentange of Hollywood production is very, very predictable.

I thought his name was Tykwer? He's better known for Run Lola Run (or Lola rennt). I was apparently one of the few people who liked Der Krieger und die Kaiserin (I think that's the German title) better. You are right, it's an excellent movie. Definitely worth seeing.

The movie was merely OK but the ending has to be one of the dumbest ever. The guy insists with the same structure (building up suspense, the main character has flashbacks, surprise!) which kinda worked in Sixth Sense, didn't work in Unbreakable and it's a mess in Signs.
This movie is nothing else than religious propaganda to me.

I found that Sixth Sense is similar to Jacob's Ladder, an early 90's movie - way better.
