Ahh, but that's the thing. How did the poor angel know it really was god? He probably only had the deity's word for it, right? You see, the angel was very good at always questioning all the assumptions. One might say it was a very logical and rational angel. But perhaps logic has no place in heaven (or in hell, for that matter)?
