Status : Online | The hotspot for opening the drawer is no where near the drawer. Yes I am serious, that one drove me crazy too, just like I'm sure it's driving you crazy.
???It's something about the drawer that you see actually being a reflection in a mirror (I'm not making this up!). The hotspot if memory serves me correctly is off to the right on the wall around the same height as the drawer.
Click around on that wall a bit and you'll find it, I know it took me a while.
Never do anything half-assed, always use your WHOLE ass!!

Status : Online | If your version is like mine, the graphics in Kalinka's bathroom are all screwed up (just look up towards the ceiling in the room, and you'll see what I mean).
The hotspot for the drawer in the corner vanity can be found off to the right - just to the right of a wooden board with various brushes hanging on it.
Exit the room like you would any bathroom - climb over the sink.

Status : Offline | I had so many problems with that game I finally gave up, buggiest bugger I have EVER run across, think I made it thru the 5th chapter and just couldnt take it anymore, unistalled it and traded it away, everytime I would finally get one thing going something else would go wrong, I t was the most frustrating game for me EVER, I wanted to take the cd's and smash them up against the wall.

With all this great information I immediately reinstalled Faust. I must have been more frustrated than I thought because when uninstalled it I also uninstalled the save games. So I decided to start at the beginning and rush through the game up to the point in Kalinka's bathroom. Well, that was the plan anyway. Now I can't get the paper knife to go through the wax either of the letters in Nathaniel's bedroom (episode 2). It is quite frustrating. If anyone feels like giving me a helping hand, or any suggestions on the most satisfying way to dispose of the game, let me know.

Status : Offline | Oh Gawd!! Heather, that STUPID Envelope!! I remember
after about 50 trys I finally got it open, then didnt save right away, and SOMETHING ELSE went wrong with the game ( cant remeber what , so much did go wrong ) but
I had to do it all over again, 2nd. time I think it only took about 20 trys, if thats any consolation.
If you dont want to lose your mind trade it away and be done with it! Or smash it if it makes you feel better. Sorry I cant be more help. but that game took me over the edge.

| Deleted User | You have to to use the knife as in real life:
the knife first has to slit behind the flap of the enveloppe, then you have to pull it downwards.
