I don't do that
Is it paper? That sure won't break by falling, but will dissolve in water...

It's sort of close, a tissue...I don't know about you, Michal, but I'd rather wipe my eyes with a tissue instead of paper...but hey, you know, everyone's different..

Paper tissue, right?
I knew what you meant, but a sheet of paper behaves just the same.

I don't know... never tried it

Glove and table are correct.

ere= before - i.e., something thats over before you hear it.

A hundred and one
by fifty divide,
And if a cipher
is rightly applied,
The answer is one from nine

Don't take the divide part literally in the mathematical sense. Think Roman numerals.

Actually 'ere' was the one word I did understand
 Lightning?

CI, L, I, IX... is it something starting with 'cli'?

Deleted UserIm just going to guess..."Civilization"?
the only noun I could think of that begins with CI, aside from circle, but that dont seem likely

additional thoughts for those who be more smartly than me do...

-one from nine = I from IX which could be X or ten
-"The Answer is one from nine" may mean that it ends with the letters "isten"
-cipher - numerical character or figure '0' or nothing
-'0' "rightly applied" to fifty is five hundred, which is 'D' in roman numerals

otherwise stuck

Here's one wrong but creative solution:

101 'divided' by 50 is 'cli'. One from nine is eight, also spelled as 'ate'. A cipher is 1,000 (why not) or M. Put together, we get "climate"

I am really curious what the correct answer is...

It seems like the saga is almost over! We seem to slack off on the riddles...
...Here's a few more:

My host thinks I'm an irritation,
a bother, a pain.
But he can't evict me,
so I stay, remain.
Then one day I'm taken
and ranked among my peers.
Can you guess just what I am?
Then you might call me dear.

What force and strength cannot do,
I with a simple touch can do;
yet many in the street would stand,
were I not a friend at hand.
What am I?

There's a one story house that's all blue inside.
The floor was blue, the lamps were blue,
the walls were blue, everything was blue.
So what color were the interior stairs?

What has no beginning, end or middle?

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

If you use roman numbers (as everyone is doing here); the result of the division is CLI.  Adding a cipher leads to CLIO.
That's all I can think of  :-/  (Because I don't suppose the answer is the car! :

When there are no more riddles around  :

the riddles are getting easier by the second:

If you have it, you want to share it, but if you share it, you don't have it. What is it?

At first I have four of them, then I cut one off, therefore three fall down and five remain. What are they?

I can be flat, all four standing straight and the odd one standing by, I can be round, all four tucked away tight and the odd one covers all, I can pound and kill, I can contain and heal. What am I?

OK, how about this: let's say we have a square sheet of paper which has (naturally) 4 vertices. Cut one corner off (3 vertices), result has 5 vertices.
