Are you sure? It fits really well! Or is it something else/reflecting in something else? I guess it could fit, lakes most likely are green, but there is something else that could fit better...

Status : Online | Last Chance to See! This is the final quintet of Krondorian riddles. The remaining few don't make sense outside of the game.
1. We travel much, yet prisoners are, And close confined, to boot. Yet with any horse we will keep pace, And always go on foot.
2. Inside a burning house, This thing is best to make. And best to make it quickly before, The fire's too much to take.
3. This fool has married many women. Yet he has never been married.
4. Neck, but no head. Arms, but no hands. Waist, but no legs.
5. I saw him where he never was, And where he could not be. And yet within this place, I saw a wavering face, Staring back at me.
I forgot my sig.

:'( That makes me so sad... It's the end of en era. What will happen to the riddle-thread now? It was my ticket to forum-fame.
If I get any of them wrong, it's just because I want to savour the experience:
#1: a horse-shoe? #2: an escape? #3: a catholic priest? #4: a shirt/sweater/coat/dress? #5: a mirror?

Here's a batch for you:
When I am filled I can point the way, When I am empty Nothing moves me, I have two skins One without and one within.
My tines be long, My tines be short My tines end ere My first report. What am I?
As a whole, I am both safe and secure. Behead me, and I become a place of meeting. Behead me again, and I am the partner of ready. Restore me, and I become the domain of beasts. What am I?
A hundred and one by fifty divide, And if a cipher is rightly applied, The answer is one from nine.

I am one simple word, but I mean different things One of my meanings brings great forceful swings, The other of me, may have curve, like the first... But only one meaning can help quench a thirst. One of my meanings will often bring cheers, Either of them could hold a few beers.
You throw away the outside and cook the inside. Then you eat the outside and throw away the inside. What are you eating?
What has no content, yet you can see it?
It can be cut and will grow back. Yet when you least expect it, it may disappear never to return.

1. Sometimes it glitters, but often not; May be cold, or may be hot. Ever changing though the eye can't measure, Concealed within may be many treasures. Some find safety beneath its gate, While some may die beneath its weight! Old and broken, it brings forth life.
2. Part carbon, part water, I am poison to the fishes. Many falsely claim my name, I am the pause that refreshes
3. What gets whiter the dirtier it gets?
4. What won't break if you throw it off the highest building in the world, but will break if you place it in the ocean?
5. While walking across a bridge I saw a boat full of people. Yet on the boat there wasn't a single person. Why?
