Deleted UserHey there,

I was doing my usual rounds on the net, then I thought - hey, I should share in some of the wonderfulness I have discovered. So here are my 5 top website recommendations!

1) Animated Movies
http://animated-movies.squareworld.com/News.html

All the latest animation movie news FIRST. Plus, a huge database of information about the making of nearly all animated movies in existence, and all run by a jolly nice bloke called Olivier Moreaux. Go and enjoy! It's great!

2) Aint It Cool News
http://www.aintitcoolnews.com

I know a lot of you already know about this one, but this is for the benefit of those who don't. An excellent site, even if the forums are a bit aggressive, with movie news and reviews way, WAY before you hear it ANYWHERE ELSE. Cinematic Happenings Under Developments (http://www.chud.com) comes a close second!

3)Animation World Network
http://www.awn.com/

Want to know more about pure, hand-drawn animation and the techniques involved in the latest movies? AWN has it all, even if it does appear a bit spoddy at first. FANTASTIC!

3)Belleville Rendez-vous
http://www.celluloid-dreams.com/belleville/

Crap site, but download the trailer and salivate. French animation at its finest.

4)Doug Chiang Studio's
http://www.dchiang.com/flash/robota.html

Here's the website of the SW concepts artists own work... and it blows SW out of the water! GIVE THIS GUY MONEY! LET HIM HAVE FULL CREATIVE CONTROL! An amazing artist, and nice guy to boot. Watch the Robota trailer and prepare to be amazed.

5) Tough Guys Don't Wear Pants
http://www.geocities.com/bountyhamster1/home.htm

A blatant plug for my first animation job which is going to be posted ad infinitum until someone goes "Oh, yeah! That show's cool". Or something.

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

1. Orisinal

http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/

Small but very addictive Flash games. The art design is very good.

2. The One Ring

http://www.theonering.net/

Most of you probably already know about this -- a excellent place for information on the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy.

3. Megatokyo

http://www.megatokyo.com/

An anime inspired comic about two Americans stuck in Japan. I only watch a moderate amount of anime, and I'm certainly not a hard core gamer (which is also a theme of many of the comics), but it's still pretty funny stuff.

4. The Official Mystery Science Theater 3000 Info Club Web Site

http://www.mst3kinfo.com

My favorite site for MST3K stuff.

5. The L-Space Web

http://www.ie.lspace.org/

Great site for all things involving Terry Pratchett, most notably the annotations, which I found invaluable in adding depth and clearing up questions about the Discworld novels.

I have to make an announcement:
The latest episode in Broken Saints was BAD!
I didn't like it. The previous was much more shocking, thrilling and everything. This was just...I can't say...yes, it was boring, old-fashioned, without inspiration. And they say, this was their milestone...
Perhaps they didn't notice what an extraordinary good work they have done so far.
But I shouldn't ruin the expectation of others. Unfortunately, I already did.
Man, this was a mediocre episode AT BEST!

Argh. Let's hope for a really mindblowing finale.

Please Elfstone, don't say any spoilers.... I'm still on the 16th episode. Hey, but just one bad episode in so many great ones, I think it's no big deal... and since it is not the finale, there's hope for a grandiose put-it-alltogether (man, every episode I watch, I get more questions than answers all the time).

But pllzzzz no spoilers...

Yes dimi, one bad can happen.
I can tell you that almost each episode tops the previous one. That's a spoiler, but one you might enjoy!

Maybe my expectations were too high.
I'm sure the last episode will be enormous and of highest quality.

Btw:
Did you experience the very same than I did? Each episode raises more questions. You can't really understand what is going on till the end.

All of them? Eh, not likely. At a  quick glance I recognize 20 or 21 among all three alphabets, so I've got some work to do.
