11th hour was, of course, the sequel to 7th guest. This one is the next sequel. What would you call it? The "Threequel?"

It's a little early in the game, so to speak, to be revealing too much, but I'll try to provide as much information as seems proper and appropriate. If any group deserves some inside dope, it is this one.
I'm really here just to drop by from time to time and see if I can add to the conversation and show my support for JA and its wonderful constituency. I also hope to pick up some valuable feedback and input about the current and future state of the genre.

Status : Online | Yor're right Just)G, The 11th Hour was the sequel to The 7th Guest. We're calling this The 7th Guest Part III (threequel huh? Nice one Tally_Ho). It's kind of a follow up - and Henry Stauf is lurking. As my partner (and game designer don Roberto said, it's a little early to be revealing too much but here's a little piece of story outline lifted from the design doc:
"Henry Stauf has moved on from his mysterious mansion on the Hudson River in upstate New York. He now resides in his own museum that appears to exist in a timeless world in some peculiar European town or city. Stauf has populated his collection with objects and artifacts from around the globe and from throughout time. These items tell fantastic, but historically accurate tales of evil, triumph and the absurd throughout human history.
Stauf's museum is a strange, shifting maze-like environment. There are worlds within worlds in this extraordinary, magical place. This is not so much a museum of natural history, but of the unnatural history of mankind."

| Deleted User | It took forever for me to download this on my 56K but it was worth the wait. The first two games in the series were very good and probably graphically advanced for their release times. This one looks even better.
Gee, I really need another game to add to my stacks (and stacks and stacks and stacks). :-/

Hey Inferno, good news. NOT at all true.
Our designated primary platform is PC. It's our ambition to create the highest resolution computer game ever - a hint of which can be seen in the trailer. I think targeting a console platform would compromise the quality and that's not where we want to go.

Hey Harriet,
Can't tell you how much I appreciate your patience. The trailer is 11MB, how long did it actually take to download it?
I made the decision to go with a single option which is admittedly directed towards broadband users, rather than complicate things with multiple choices. It seems that so many people have fast connections these days that they (almost) represent the majority. My apologies to dial-up modem users. I'm very happy to hear that you weren't disappointed.
