I hesitate to put this here as it's not really a game, but it is a fascinating piece of software nonetheless. Space Engine is a simulation of the universe. Just about everything that's known is there, and the unknown parts are procedurally  generated based on that. You can flit about the universe manually, or select any object you can see and go directly to it, or you can search and select from the list of objects available. Oh, and it's free.
