It's really your old pal Tincup2 here. Since this weekend I haven't been able to login to JA - it doesn't accept the security code thing. I contacted HeldDesk but to read their replay I need to be logged in... hmmm. So I created a new temporary account to see if anyone here has experienced the same problem and what the solution is.

I sometimes have trouble with the captcha-thingie. you either have to use capitalised letters or small ones, i always forget which is correct. And sometimes it just doesn't work at all, after several attemps I usually can login though.

Well it's Wednesday and i'm only just able to login again with my new tincup 3 account after 50-60 tries - same input.  I'm using my office machine this time after trying 2 others. still no joy with tincup2 account after 50-60 treis - but honestly, I don't mind putting my old Intergalactic Janitor [Candidate] overalls on again lol... 

I'm back, but only as Tincup3. Still can't log on as 'ol Tincup2... let's see...

EDIT: added my Tincup2 avatar to Tincup3 as it seems I really can't get back to my old self. What game is this from again?

That's a real pain in the patootie, Tincup Next Generation.  Try submitting a help desk ticket and see if they can resolve the problem for you.

I'm going to logoff as Tc3 and try Tc2 again. See you on the other side...

On the bright side it appears that tincup2 is still marked as active while mine disappeared into cyber ether. I could be wrong but it seems that forum support has quietly exited the stage.  You could also try offering a small cash reward although that didn't work for me.

I'm still here. I thought I had Tincup's issue resolved last night, but if not, he's got my email. He should be back to his previous self in no time.

Whoa! I just managed to login as good 'ol Tincup2 for the first time in almost a week. It took me about 12 shots, re-loading the site every 2 or 3 attempts. I will take Support's suggestion and change my password, though I'm unsure what that has to do with it... Let's see if this holds!

EDIT: hmmm. I wonder if I get credit for Tincup3's 4 posts?

EDIT 2: well, I'm now able to login as Tincup2 again, but only if I don't click "stay logged in"...

Well me and Tincup2 are getting pretty tired of this 'new-look' login stuff. Neither of us know who will get a chance to represent us - a crap shoot every time.. Right now Tc2 is off in his 2D world looking for pixelgirl again [she turned her sprites and vanished again..] so I have no idea when he'll be back. As for me, so long as this 3D incarnation holds Tc3 is here..
