It certainly is charming. I finished the demo which took me about five hours and reached level six. The intent is obvious: provide a long playable demo from the beginning of the game as a manipulation to persuade the customer to shell out almost $20 USD for the rest. (just enter your serial number and continue on) Aside from the lack of character and class and such you get the typical RPG elements but in a limited (five talent lines) format. Skills can be conveniently dropped into the quick bar. I guess if I had to I would call it a 'casual RPG'. There is some adjustment of camera angle although to me it seems the overall perspective is too overhead. In all honesty I would buy this came only if the price dropped to $10. :\
