As usual there is very much more anticipation & even excitement  re ‘CCS’ (Carol Reed mystery #9) on another site where the great interest in Quest/Adventure games in general is very much greater & more catholic !

It is pointed out there CORRECTLY that the demo is rather short.  Furthermore,  none of the favourite characters (apart from Carol herself of course !) appears in the Demo although they ALL feature fully as usual in the full game itself in which Stina & Mr. Bigge & Amber and of course the handsome heartthrob  Jonas all participate as usual !

      I have had quite a long & experienced acquaintance with Quest/Adventure Demos.

I believe I am correct in saying that the majority simply copy a fairly short portion from the very beginning of the full game - it is easier, quicker & cheaper for the Developer(s) !

      Please correct me if I am wrong on this !

      But this has the disadvantage that when the player starts the REAL FULL game, he has already completed  the first (albeit small) part of the game. Some players object to this and some even refuse to play the Demo at all for these reasons !

The fairly short CCS Demo avoids these drawbacks in 2 ways as follows :-

      (1)  The Demo is NOT taken from the beginning of the reasonably long full game but from the middle !

      (2)  The Demo is not identical with the real game ! Althouigh it is BASED on the full game, quite a few alterations have been made so that players will not get bored repeating identical gameplays !

The game is undergoing its final beta testings.

It will be officially released early in March 2013.
