Periodically we swap our "Favorite Games" lists - for a change of pace I'm curious about AG's you have a fondness for that you feel you don't see often enough on other peoples lists. The games needn't be obscure or rare, though they may be, just under-appreciated in your estimation, perhaps even inspite of demonstrable weaknesses.

Here are a few I like but don't see posted all that often:

Residents - Bad Day on the Midway
Cydonia
Crystal Key 1
SPQR
Necronomicon
Azrael's Tear
Dogday
Outcry [of course...]
Phobos 1953/KGB 1953
Gadget
Barrow Hill

What I'm after *could* be determined by statistically analyzing the years and years of Fav's list on JA, but I'm too lazy for that. I'm hoping some fresh "B-Lists" may offer an insight into what we all feel, as a group, are missing from Fav lists in general - and a sort of shortcut to finding a game we may have overlooked. Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't...

I have to second Wallace & Gromit, Riddle of the Sphinx, and Obsidian -- I should have included them on my list. Though a bit short and rather easy, I thought Wallace and Gromit was quite charming and very much in the spirit of the animation it was based on, a shame it didn't do better in terms of sales. Riddle of the Sphinx was rough around the edges but had some great exploration with a large game environment and interesting puzzles. And Obsidian...well, Obsidian is a personal top 5 adventure game, one of the most imaginative games I've played with some really original puzzles. I didn't include it because I have trouble thinking of it as a B-game. But it really doesn't get the attention it deserves these days.

Andromus - I think you have the right idea about the B-List aspect. I tried avoiding my personal top-10's except for a few that I rarely see on other lists. I could add Lighthouse and Mission Critical, and I Iike that Physicus and Chemicus are appearing.

The Omega Stone

Alida

Morpheus

Lighthouse

Secrets of the Luxor

Bioscopia

Physicus

Chemicus

Agon games

The Messenger

Inherit the Earth: Quest for the Orb

Hmmm.  I notice that all but the last one of mine are first person puzzle-oriented games, which I find more immersive than third person.  Several of them would be in my top 20 games, but they seem to be neglected, the poor things.  I have played many third person games and enjoyed them, but they seem to be talked about more than these.
