Which means that more people can savor the game with relatively little skill knowning that there are plenty of room for time, dedication, and finesse to lead to outstanding results. Anyone can start to play, and not everyone can (or will) master components of the game.
The complexness of the mechanics depends on users. As people play on the planet being presented to them, they'll are digging deeper and deeper to the tools that permit the crooks to communicate with that world. They'll find out about skill combinations involving an assortment of field effects, blasts such as the Warrior's Stomp or Arcing Arrow, and projectiles to add complexity to battle by playing off the other when used properly.
This concept of showing off simple rules and using them towards increasingly complex ends isn't new at all to Guild Wars and ArenaNet by any stretch on the imagination. It does not take understanding of emergent gameplay; I simply get lucky and think that it's being delightfully congratulations in this particular game.
