To sugar the wait, here is Aram from Atlus USA walking through the dark and devious world of Sherlock Holmes: http://www.ign.com/videos/2012/09/14/the-testament-of-sherlock-holmes-developer-walkthrough

Oi, what a pity that such bad decisions are being applied to a Frogwares game. I always used to buy every single copy of theirs previously. Can't imagine why people are being penalized like this? It costs a lot of money to import games especially now that publishers have started to implement regional blocks which is simply totally unfair!
Acess to games has become increasingly hard for those of us who prefer to keep at least one gaming PC unconnected. No wonder piracy has become so rife- it's much easier to get hold of illegal than legal games, sadly...

I would be tempted to make a comment regarding the publishers decisions but unfortunately it would not be well tolerated on this forum.
Yes, thankfully we do have our UK sellers to satisfy our needs for games in a box. I also don't mind waiting the normal two week period before the 40% price reduction.

Why not, I hold them in the same light as the MPAA and the RIAA (the biggest bunch of self-serving idiots on the face of the earth)
Frogwares on the other hand is one of the greatest bunch of folks I know.

..so i will be getting this game by whatever means, but maybe the non- boxed thing is a sign for me to wait until after my October exams...
(been waiting for the latest Sherlock for so long, i guess a few weeks more won't kill me)

Is that it? I hate to admit I am so naive in view of the fact that somehow I missed the official explanation from FHI.
