But I find it extremely hard to joke or laugh at that monster in human form !

Perhaps somebody will come out with a rip=roaring comedy about 9/11 where a mere three thousand were killed or the big Tsunami with a trivial few hundred thousand casualties !!!

People have been making clips that mocks Bin Laden ever since 9/11, and many TV-shows have done the same.

Orders of magnitude !
Bin Laden was a rank amateur - chicken feed in universal terms !
Hitler, ably aided & abetted by his monstrous coterie of thugs & accomplices, and sycophants was resposible for the massacre of many millions - I believe the accepted figure is 50 to 60 million deaths altogether in WW-II.

I love watching Jon Stewart too, and he had a hilarious clip on the Jewish religion the other day that I am sure some Jews didn't think was funny, but, what the heck? it's comedy. Not real life.

If everyone who was ever offended at a joke, had the power to stop all jokes, there'd be no laughter - anywhere.

You have a short memory and a lack of consistency !
I have on my hard disk an excellent funny (clean) joke which I posted a long time ago. It made most others laugh. However, you misunderstood it (or pretended to !!!).
Your vicious reaction then was "I;ve never read anything so disgusting didadidadida ..........." - and you then continued to attack me personally (as usual)
Now you say we should laugh at ALL jokes - that;s OK by me - but please make your mind up
You would do well in politics being oh so adept at changing policies whenever it suits your particular ends You are also very handy with platitudinous homilies & prim santimonious sermons.

You only have to turn on the tv to see how it has invaded every part of our society (and our lives), and how it sucks the joy out of living. It seems like no matter what you think or what you do, somewhere it’s wrong by someone’s political correctness standard.
My policy now is to always reject political correctness. Even if I’m in the wrong I still reject political correctness as a matter of principle, and as a right to ‘think for myself' and enjoy life as I see fit.
This is an adventure game forum. It was a funny vid concerning adventure games. I really enjoyed it.

I can certainly WELL understand people who have little or no personal association with Shikelgruber to find the clip hilarious - his particularly applies to those born before 1933 and the world shattering events thereafter. ****** N.B. Remember the superb Charlie Chaplin comedy movie (maybe the best ever made ?!?) "The Great Dictator" ? But that was released in 1940 a year after WW-II started but before the horrendous atrocities REALLY got into swing - the massacres, tholocaust and other genocides.
As far as I PERSONALLY am concernered - just seeing & hearing tat devil (I won't dignify "it" by calling it' a human being ) it rant & rave hysterically - gives me acute heebie jeebies !
Just as a historical addendum ----- Hitlr's name will go down as one of the worst (Maybe the VERY worst) characters of all times. And throutgh him, the proud German nation wil not be forgiven for MANY generations - if ever !!

I don't understand Kori.
I probably dislike Political Correctness as much as you do - and think that it has gone too far.
But if you were born relatively recently and Hitler's atrocities are history and of little more interest than those of Attila the Hun - then by all means have a good laugh at that clip - why not.
But if your husband or wife or parents or children were simply chucked into a gas chamber through no fault of any of them, and then incinerates, you might not find the clip so hilarious.
Depends on the person and his/her background - nobody's coercing anybody else to behave as they FEEL.
Simple as that ... nothing whatsoever to do with political Correctness !

This parody, using a clip from the magnificent movie ''Downfall'' has also been circulating for over two years now, and has been done litterally thousand of times. I sincerely did not expect to offend anyone by it.
Whatever my two cents are worth, I would say however that humor has served, as was the case with Chaplin's movie, to ridicule tirany and remove vilany from the pedestal some monsters such as himself managed to build for themselves. Over time, humor such as this has always been a great healer. Do not suppose that a clip such as this serves to minimise the atrocities of a not so distant past. Being of Jewish-German descent, recent enough to be granted the citizenship, I would not personally use this material if I felt it would contribute to a horrible cause. I can respect your view on the matter, but I cannot possibly share it. If we were not able to mock even this, we could never get past it.

You are ABSOLUTELY right.
Please don't be upset or need to apologise !
You did not *OFFEND* me in ant way whatsoever - and if I gave that impression I apoligise sincerely !
It's just that I'm OVER sensitive on the issue of the 6 million who perished in the Holocaust , maybbe the worst and most senseless mass inhuman crime in the whole bloody history of humankind !
I have lived in Israel for the past 63 years.
Of the roughly 7 million Jews here, almost one in every two has had an EXTREMELY close relatitive slaughtered like cattle by Hitler's decrees. We still have a minority of survivors still alive here (in their 80's now) who lsomehow survived Bergen-Belsen, Buchenwald, Sobibor, Mai Theresienstadt, and many others 70 odd years ago.
"There but the grace of "God" go I"
How they survived the almost unimaginable horrors of those extermination camps - I can;t imagine !

To me, that subject should only be discussed in a venue that can give it the appropriate attention and perspective. Not to mention that this isn't even Off-Topic, it's the main Adventure Game forum.

You've made your point and although you may not believe it, we do understand it. As Sir Dave said, this is not the proper place to discuss it. Let's move on and try to react to the Kickstarter parody in the spirit in which it was posted.

You are absolutely correct "I have made my point" and have no wish in the slightest to belabor it further!
Nor have I got the slightest desire or intention to "move on and try to to react to the Kickstartr parody in the spirit in which it was given (which I have not the slightest doubt was only one of pure desire to have a good laugh - and nothing more - and the same for ALL those who enjoy it) !
As far as **I** maybe alone am concerned ------
****** I'm only too sorry that I don't believe in HELL (or Heaven) since I would relish the thought of Adolf being tortured in near boiling oil for all eternity !!!
