That has to be the most pointless creature that those space gnomes ever invented, though probably a better idea than the dreaded Tyrannohamstrus Rex (yes, TSR created such a thing).
Hm, how about a Yuki (Syberia 2)

Maybe one of those mechanical birds from Lighthouse.
They don't poop, do they? But maybe they, in fact, do doo-doo. With my luck probably giant stainless-steel ball bearings or cannon balls.
Nah. They're too loud, noisy and sharp-edged. Not very cuddily. What would one have to feed them, anyway? Bolts? Nuts? Anvils?
On a more organic note, I would want to have the white horse galloping across the water in... uh... you know the one. It was "Something Something II".
When I saw the animated banner ad across the top of the original JA Home Page it was beautifully stunning and I told myself: "I have to get that game."
Anyway, I would want to have that gallant steed as a pet. And to get to the mainland from my exquisitely-appointed private island. It would seem it's more eco-friendly. No pre-flight checks, no jet fuel, no noxious emissions...
Oh, no! I forgot the horse emits things, too. Maybe I can train him / her to do it whilst we're trotting across the lake.
Nice horsie!

I remember the game now. It was the promotion for the 1999 release of Cryo's Beyond Atlantis. I remember distinctly the animated banner across the top of the JA homepage (Circa 1999) had a beautiful scene of a white horse galloping across water.
Sigh. If I can't have the horsie then I guess I'll have to settle for that Royal Copenhagen Annual Winter plate featured in Scratches. Top-notch horror Adventure game, that Scratches.
Or a cute kitten that follows you around in an Adventure Game. Are there any of those in AGs?

Plenty of cats around in AG's.
I think that I can remember at least two - IOIRC both were up a tree and you had to get them down to continue the games.
But my exact memory stop[s there - I can picture the 2 games but I'm too lazy to do a dearch for their names,
But I seem to remember that a white horse (and if I'm not nistaken, a red horse) featured in :King's Quest - 6" ?!?

Oh, no. I don't want my puss to be a puzzle where I have to get it down from a tree. I want my kitten to be a pal - not a problem to be solved. No more cat-fur mustache puzzles, please.
I'll feed it well, water it, groom it, pet it, and love it but if my little furry friend becomes a hassle, I'll leave it on Caroline's stoop in URU, in a wicker basket with a note that says: "If you take me in, love me and give me cat food, I'll tell you how to get new carpeting for your Relto. You're going to need it after I move in."

OMG - I completely forgot about that atrocious puzzle in "Gabriel Knight -3".
That makes 3 not very friendly cats.
Can't actually remember any kittens offhand - but wasn't there a 'friendly' boa-constrictor in "GB-1"
