However, I do have a new question: is there an easy way to multi-quote - that is, to quote more than one post? Thus far the only way that I've found has been to open the thread in a new tab and take my quotes from there, either manually or via multiple uses of "Reply with Quote" - although the latter may have been the cause of a bug that seemed to result in a post not going through, if I recall correctly.
Presuming that I haven't missed another option, and given that we see the thread in the background of our reply screen, could we perhaps get access to the "Reply to Quote" button for the various posts, in this mode simply inserting the quote into the current reply rather than starting a new one? If, for whatever reason, access to the original buttons is not feasible or a good idea, then perhaps the addition of floating button controls over the originals might work.
MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
*ahem*
Sorry.

But if you are right then it's like some of these forums [usually tech sites] that every response involves a complete duplication of the previsous post. I hope that's not the case....
EDIT: think I have it now. A miilion monkeys a million years...
