I have it on good authority that Corrosion: Cold Winter Waiting is an upcoming release with a creep-out factor that's practically off the scale. I know this is so because I'm the good authority.

I've had a look at Corrosion. It's a geniunely scary game.

No formal release date has been set, although I understand it should be coming out very shortly -- possibly even this weekend. Stay tuned for an announcement in the forums, then look for the game to be exclusively available in the JA Shop!

Okay, seriously: I said possibly this past weekend. That's what I was told. Alas, it didn't happen and for that, I apologize.

I was fortunate enough, however, to have been given an opportunity to play a pre-release version of Corrosion. As an adventure gamer who loves horror, I can say from personal experience that this is a truly frightening game.

Hopefully, it will be forthcoming before much more time passes. For those who enjoy being scared as much as I do, I think it will be worth the wait.  

Sorry Karla but I have been waiting and following this game ever since Dan Peach first talked about making it around 2006. As your punishment expect a knock at your door soon.......don't worry, it will just be me ready to play the game that obviously you have,

Yes, it's definitely taken awhile for Corrosion to get to this point. I remember posting a press release and screenshots on an Upcoming Release page for the game back in 2007. But after that, I received nothing else. Note that the game's official site also hasn't been updated since 2007.

However, Dan has created Corrosion completely on his own and it's his first effort as an indie developer. I, for one, am happy he spent as much time on it as he did. He's done a masterful job in conjuring up a terrifying game; it's only the second to have truly scared me in all my years of gaming.

How about this weekend??? Please...I really need a game to play...have a heart, I am dying here.

I know how it feels to be waiting (or, in this case, Cold Winter Waiting  ) for something one really wants. If it were permissible, I'd rip the version I have off my HDD and give sell it to you.

Er... Ahem...please excuse my silliness. Being able to use smileys again seems to have made me delirious.

Okay. Getting serious now...I haven't heard anything further about a release date. Even if I had, though, it could always be changed again.

But just think: the longer it takes to arrive, the better it will feel to finally get it. Yeah, I know that's not much help. But it's all I can think of to say.
