IndieDB and ModDB have opened their polls for the best indie game and mod of the year 2011 today, which will last until the end of the year. With thousands of indie games and mods to vote for, the competition is sure to be a tough and close one. So far Terraria has been in the lead for best indie game, with No More Room in Hell at the top for best mod.
Scott Reismanis, the Founder of ModDB and IndieDB, commented "It's hard to believe that 2000 indies and 3000 mods updated in 2011, but they did - and all are deserving of recognition. Only one can be crowned the 2011 winner, and so we begin our annual search for the best."
Voting will end on January 1, 2012, which will decide the top 100 in each catagory, with an overall ultimate winner announced for each after the votes have been counted. -Well, listen to my story, a story I will tell, of an airborne sapper, who would go through hell, His home was FT. Leonard Wood, the land that God forgot, the mud was 18inches deep, and the sun was blazing hot.
