Andrea Salomoni, an indepedent game developer, announced today the release of his first game, Rookie Roach, is now available on Apple's App Store for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.
Rookie Roach is the combination of puzzle-solving with the fun and thrill of a strategy game. The plot to Rookie Roach is that the titular character (a roach, as you figured) must disable detonators in a swamp that are linked up to a nuclear bomb. Creating safe routes through the swamp using rafts is the only way to reacha nd disable the detonators, working like a sliding puzzle.
There are numerous ways to win the game itself, but it is up to the player to find the fastest and most efficient. Customers can find Rookie Roach on the App Store for $0.99 in the US and in other regions (which will be priced accordingly). A free version known as Rookie Roach Free is also available.
