Dervish is nice, but you could call a male cat that as well. And, that's the kind of name that should go with a specific cat's character. (I know Siamese tend to be fierce, but you never know... )
Imhri is nice, but is it female?
You could always wait and see what the cat is actually like. I know it doesn't sound very original, but we often end up calling our pets by names that describe their looks or character; such as Smiley or Smurfie .
...but of course, a Siamese cat needs a more regal name, so I understand your pain.
If you don't like Sita, Diora is nice.
Yes, Diora could definitely work...

For example, these I really like, but they're 'taken' so to speak:
Purr-puss
Teasle
Biz
Gracey
Teeter (and his sibling, Totter)
Winkin, Blinkin and Nod - all orange tabby brothers
Willow
Charlotte
Evie

How about some of Shakespeare's characters:
Ariel
Miranda
Titania or one of her fairies: Peaseblossom, Cobweb, Moth, Mustardseed
Ophelia (if she's a bit nutty)
Desdemona
Bianca (if her fur is mostly white)

Hum... It's not an name of the far east, but, inspired I believe by the game The Marionette, I have a fondness for the name "Eshana" (which, according to BabyNames.com, means "Wish" or "Desire").
For the more fantastic, perhaps Angua or Conina, after the characters (see here (including pronunciation, I believe) and here) from the Discworld novels (although the former may not be ideal, given that said character was a werewolf ^^; ).
MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

>>>>The Siamese cat originated from Thailand, formerly known as Siam. These cats were held in such high esteem in their native country that no one except the King and members of the royal family were permitted to own them. They were originally known as Royal points.
Written records reveal that Siamese cats, in their country of origin, were venerated as guardians of the temples. When a person of high rank died, it was usual to select one of these cats to receive the dead person's soul. The cat was then removed from the royal household and sent to one of the temples to spend the rest of its days living a ceremonial life of great luxury, with monks and priests as its servants. These cats were reputed to eat the finest foods from gold plate and to recline on cushions made of the most opulent materials, which had been provided by the departed one's relatives in an attempt to receive good fortune and blessings. Once they became temple cats, they were supposed to have special powers and could intercede for the soul of the dead person.<<<

Colpet is the Angelina Jolie of the pet world. So how about 'More' as a name - as in 'always room for one more'.
Fess up Colpet, tell the nice people how many pets you already have - and their names.

Of course i'd have to pronounce it "MO-ray"
Let's see - 4 cats (Marty, Casey, Jerry and Arthur) and 3 dogs (Midas, Tyler and Phoebe)
Here's the web page for the Siamese kitten. I'm going with the classic look (wedge-head).

BTW, Phoebe's got 10 new half-siblings (her mom is Maggie). Here's a link to some pictures from the breeder:
