After the "Game Deals 'USA edition'" it's time to start a dutch one! Please post good game deals here. Especially bargains from the less known shops or online stores would be nice.

I'll start with some very obvious ones, already mentioned in other posts, but it's a start:

Free Record Shop
-Liath (the game was still available online about a week ago)
-Pandora's Box (350 puzzles edition, DVD box)

V&

-Riven (DVD-edition) might be available in some stores

I don't know about the other V&
bargains now, but they usually have quite a lot.

Deleted UserReah will be available in the Dutch Free Record Shops as well this week. (At least, that's what the info-lady on the phone told me.) Reah will NOT be advertised on the FRS website. I guess they got fed up with fulfilling all those orders for a 3 Euro game like Liath.

Both Liath and Reah were published by Take 2.

It's in the 'Heuvelpassage', on the first floor. You can find this mall in the shopping center of E'hoven, a 5-10 minutes walk from Central Station.

I know that mall, it has my favourite bookshop of all times - it sells LOTS of Terry Pratchett books! Never noticed an Intertoys shop there though... will investigate! Thanks!

I noticed the following at PC Media Driebergen (www.pcmedia.nl):

Nancy Drew Adventure Pack for 34,95 Euro

If this is a collection box of all ND games, it is a very good buy. The site is not clear about this however.

Deleted UserThis Nancy Drew Adventure Pack is probably the classic doublepack Vol 1: Secrets Can Kill + Stay Tuned for Danger (first two Nancy games).

And why oh why doesn't  V&
in Utrecht have anything worth buying anymore...

No, I haven't been to Eindhoven yet.
And I have a huge pile of games I haven't finished or even installed yet.
So I'm not sure if I should go buy these games...

Yeah, I'd like to speak "een hartig woordje" with their purchase department!
Fortunately, I already have Torin's Passage and the King's Quest series.

I don't have either game. Is there something we can arrange?
How large are the boxes (would they fit through the letterslot -- saves postage!)? Which other games are included?

I'm not in the vicinity of Zeist and it would cost quite a lot of petrol to drive there...

I don't think the boxes would fit in a letterbox (normal sized box).

The other games on it are non-adventuregames. Nobody buys them
so I might be able to check it out for you at my next visit.

And a general recommendation:

All Nedgame stores have a small corner in which they sell 2nd hand games. I often found some real classic beauties there!

(You can also let them put your old games there, but you only get a very low percentage so I'd rather use some on-line auction site.)

Anyway, their shops are only in Apeldoorn, Enschede and Groningen.

Happy hunting!
