I don't think RE:Revelations can be considered an adventure.Sure it has some adventure elements it but it's not an adventure game per se.And
Devil Survivor 2 is a JRPG not an adventure at all.

Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle should be a real hoot and maybe my "Adventure Game of the Year" for 2012 - I've got my fingers crossed that this game is an instant classic.
Secret Files 3 should have a decent story -- at least that is what they have promised.
An Ace Attorney game is always welcome - combined with Prof Layton should be interesting.

Actually, now that I know it's coming out in 2012 I'd like to change Asylum for AGON 5: The Tale of the Four Dragons. Not that I won't still enjoy Asylum, and I'll buy it for sure.

Resident Evil: Revelations is a return to form. It is back to Puzzle solving and story based Survival Horror. Just Adventure has as one of its 10 best adventure games of all time a Survival Horror game - Alone in the Dark.
Devil Survivor 2 is an RPG with a deep in-depth story - the first Devil Survivor had an excellent story that I enjoyed. With a cheat disk I can actually remove the combat portions and get it to play just like an adventure game.

Since I posted it in the "Adventure Game Discussion" forum I didn't feel the need to state that what I mean is adventure games since it's obvious to all other than you. If I meant any type of games I would post the thread in the "Other Games" section . RE:Revelations hasn't come out yet so you can't be sure how much portion of the game is actually puzzle oriented and how much of it it is action oriented and from what I see action is more prevalent in the game. And I don't care about cheat disk or other stuff, Devil Survivor 2 is a JRPG not an adventure, end of discussion.

Anyway, Sherlock is the biggest attraction for me for early 2012. (Apologies to certain handsome devs, but even games by attractive, handsome devs cannot take the Frogwares Sherlock's place!)

Many RPGs have puzzles and stories that are amazingly good. I've played Resident Evil: Revelations and there is lots of story and puzzle solving to be done. I have revised my list to reflect just the adventure games I'm looking forward too.

If we stop playing games, we might miss your game, Mr Cordes! Why, do you know of any smokin' hot devs around?
Anyway, who says I was playing games? I was being deadly serious!
