Phoenix Online Studios, the team that did the Silver Lining King Quest fan game, is trying to raise money to work on a game called "Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller" in collaboration with Jane Jensen(Gabriel Knight, Gray Matter) and Khaeon Gamestudio.  The website here http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/postudios/cognition-an-erica-reed-thriller has more details, including a trailer and donation options/rewards for doing so.  The project sounds and looks good offhand.

Based on what I've seen and read thus far, this looks like a very interesting project.  I'm not yet entirely convinced that I'll likely end up getting it (I think that I'll want to learn a little more about it first, at the least), but it does have my interest.

(As to donating, I fear that money is perhaps a little tight at the moment. :/)
