Yeah, I hope they bring the JA Store back soon. I want to buy "The Book...Tales" and I buy almost all my AG's from the JA Store. I hope the deal they had with InteractCD didn't fall through. I'll give it a few days before I order it from another site. I'm sure they're very busy here working out the bugs on the new site.

I don't buy download-only games. Never have, never will........Mike

JA *will* have a store at some point, but it won't be the same one as before. Our deal with InteractCD didn't fall through; Dave just decided that he wanted to give it up.

He is, however, continuing with InteractCD. Anyone who wants to pop over and have a look can use this link

Didn't the old JA+ store offer digitally downloaded game as well? I seem to remember this, but maybe it is may failing middle-age memory that is playing tricks on me?

The old JA store was packaged-only (boxes, jewel cases, etc). Later, we added a couple of storefronts as an affiliate: one for The Adventure Shop and one for GOG.com. These games were all digital downloads.

Neither storefront currently appears on the new site; however, it will be awhile before everything is up. I understand that we might possibly maintain our relationship with GOG.com.

In addition, as I mentioned previously, JA will eventually have its own store. I believe it will be handled in-house and will feature digital downloads as well.

And that's all I know at the moment.   Stay tuned...

Thanks Karla

I found some games I wanted.

I have another question for you

What about Dream of the turtle? If I remember right that one was continued. Did the ever make the second half?

Also

What about the Coven link that didn't work on JA?

I was one of the testers for Rhianna and I wondered if they are continuing with Coven.

To the best of my knowledge, three Runaway games have been released:
Runaway: A Road Adventure (Aug 2003)
Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle (Nov 2006)
Runaway: A Twist of Fate  (Nov 2009)

I haven't played any of them, so I'm unsure whether they represent completely different games or are continuations of the same story.

I've been unable to locate current info on the release of Coven. The most recent thing I've found appears on gamespressure.com at http://games.gamepressure.com/game_info.asp?ID=12559. It was taken from a press release on the Arberth Studios website that no longer appears there (dead link).

The Arberth Studios site makes no mention at all of Coven. All I can suggest is to write to Arberth at info@arberthstudios.com and ask about it.

All with the exception of The Book of Unwritten Tales offer free trials.

All games currently appearing in the store are reflected here:

As of today we have some new Products up...

AGON: The Lost Sword of Toledo,

AGON: The Mysterious Codex,

Dead Reefs,

Dracula 2- The Last Sanctuary,

The Longest Journey,

Traitors Gate Cypher and many many many more on the way as the days go by. So keep your eyes on the shop for some exciting new releases.

The greatest thing is that you can actually take each game for a test drive before commiting to buying it. So go ahead live a little and pick up some of the things you really wanted for Christmas.
