Sadly, I've given up on Enchanter. I really don't like having a time limit - I mean, you have a loaf of bread and a jug of water which needs to last you the whole game and if you use it up there's nothing you can do. Every few turns you get a "you are getting hungry", and that kind of thing really leaves a shadow over your head. I simply must have unlimited time to explore - (within reason, of course - it wouldn't make sense to give me unlimited time to get out of a room with spikes on a descending ceiling).
What I would love right now is another game like Anchorhead. That was a terrific game - suspenseful, with an amazing atmosphere. I don't think there is anything out there comparable, but I'll keep looking.

The player is tasked wth finishing his (or "her" with a special command, I think) dissertation within the afternoon, under threat of the eponymous girlfriend's leaving. This should be simple. There's plenty of time.
Alas, there are also plenty of distractions...
Between the Violet's narration and the curious solutions involved, this is, I feel, and interesting and amusing game. ^_^
MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
*ahem*
Sorry.
