Anyone know what the correct setup is to open the buds? Tried just about everything...  :-/

Tough puzzle, especially since the sounds are spaced fairly closely apart. I assume you have the wind vane turned as to amplify the sound to it's maximum? After a few hours I caved and consulted a walkthrough to solve one of them. Woosy I know.. wish I could help but I tossed the info.

This location/puzzle felt quite different from the others. I wonder if a different team worked on it or not..

The wind vane is set in the proper position. I checked the walkthrough and it said set the lower tune to 1,3,4 or 2,4,5. I did that and nothing happens. I'm wondering if it's a bug or something.

I don't think it's a bug. Do you have the cable tension handles set correctly as well? They affect pitch too. I need to reviisit the sequence.

Ok I got it working, the wind vane was one click off. It was hard to hear the loudest position. Thanks!

I had the vane set right and still found it tough to distinguish the sounds correctly. The earlier sound-based puzzle on the organ machine had more to work with and was much easier. Awesome game however!
