Well folks, it's time to exercise all that wonderful grey matter up there in your brain pans.

For a warm-up, why don't you go check out the nice riddles we have been working on pretty much in secrecy? You know how they say, the more the merrier, so please join in and share your riddles.

For starters here, this is the last one from the other thread:

"What is it that, after you take away the whole, some still remains?"

Enjoy.

Cool!   8-)

..and here is a riddle for you, Vagabond!

What happened in 1961 that will not happen again for over 4000 years?

Despite my ghoulish reputation, I really have the heart of a small boy. I keep it in a jar on my desk.”   - Robert Bloch

I was about to say "a hole" for the first one, because of a similar riddle, but no..  I had to read the riddle a few times to see it

Spoiler Alertwholesome

Here is a riddle from an old AG:
Forests without trees, villages without houses, rivers without fishes. What is it?

I seem to remember that the answer is a map?

Since we seem to be posting our answers ... 1961 was the last year that read the same when turned upside-down. The next year this will be true for is 6009.

This isn't exactly a riddle, but it's a fun puzzle: If AB, BC, CD, and DE stand for four common English two-letter words, then what equally common word is DCABE?
