Opening Words:
Astral Commander is a simple yet addictive strategy game where you take the role of The Astral Commander. Your mission is to direct hi-tech robots to collect resources for your base camp in alien planets.

The Story
As the best commander in your base, you are given the mission to collect resources from the alien planets using hi-technology robots. Your base is counting on you to complete the mission successfully. Astral commander has a total of 4 planets and in each planet has up to 5 levels.

The Gameplay
is based on drawn movements. You must prevent your robots from colliding with one another while directing them to collect the resources on the surface of the planets and bring them back to base camp. You use your finger to draw lines on the phone screen and the robots will move on those lines.
As you go deeper into the game, enemies will start to surface and you can protect your robots by directing them to shoot at the enemies. Once you tap on an enemy, your robots will shoot at them automatically for about 2 seconds. The game is not as simple as it sounds once you are deeper in the game, there are more enemies, less resources and even a UFO will come and shoot laser on the planet’s surface.
To win the higher level game, players must use the combos. There are two types of combos: The first one is The Mine Burst Combo, when a robot manages to get multiple resources from the planet in one path line, other resources will immediately show up on the planet. The other combo is The Energy Combo, you can earn up to 200 points from the Energy Combo by making fully filled robots continually return to base one after another.

The movements
has a fluid-like feel, you can draw a curve or even a circle for your robots to follow.

The Graphics
are very clear, simple but nicely done. It has mini tutorials with small pictures that will guide you the first time you start the game.
Astral commander also has a global high scores board. Your highest score will be posted there on the game along with other players all over the world.
So if you say that you are the best, then prove it for the world to see!

The Audio
It has nice sound effects that really fit the characters and enemies in the game.

From Gamer’s Perspective
At the early levels, this game looks like a very simple and relaxing game. But once I got to the higher levels, the game actually took all of my attentions and I need to really focus on the game to beat the level.  The robots will need to be directed by me, I have to make sure they collect multiple resources in one path to trigger the combo, and make sure they return to base one after another, shoot the enemies, prevent my robots from colliding and evading the UFO’s laser. It’s really crazy, but fun crazy!
I love the fact that it made me so busy that I forgot about everything else since the game really demands my full attention. If I look away even for 10 seconds, I will surely die since my robots would collide with one another and or got killed by the enemies.
And this is what I love the most about the game. I can draw a circle, a rectangle, a triangle, or even a face if I want, and the robot will move along those lines!

Bottomline, this is a great game with a total of 20 levels all together. It’s totally worth it!
